With the continuous development of the LED industry, LED light strips have gradually become a mainstream trend in the decoration industry. LED flexible light strips are the most common type of LED light strips. LED flexible light strips have the characteristics of LED light-emitting elements, with pure, soft light color and no glare. It can be used both as decoration and as lighting. So what are the main parameters of LED flexible light strips? 1) Color temperature Generally speaking, color temperature is not used as an evaluation indicator for LED flexible light strips. However, due to different use environments, buyers will have special requirements for white LEDs. If the light source color temperature is different, the light color will also be different. Notice: i. The color temperature of warm colors is below 3300K, and the light color is reddish, giving people a warm feeling. ii. The color temperature of neutral colors is 3000~6000K. People have no particularly obvious visual and psychological effects under this tone, and they feel refreshed. iii. The color temperature of cool colors exceeds 6000K, and the light color is bluish, giving people a cool feeling. 2)Brightness Generally, the luminous intensity of LED flexible light strips will vary depending on the color. The unit of luminous intensity is millicandela (mcd), which is an important indicator for evaluating the brightness of LED flexible light strips. The greater the luminous intensity, the brighter the light strip. LED flexible light strips with higher brightness requirements are more expensive, so high-brightness LED chips are more expensive, and the higher the brightness, the more difficult it is to package the LED chips. 3) Lighting angle The luminous angle refers to the luminous angle of the LED on the LED flexible light strip. The light-emitting angle of general SMD LED is generally 120°. The larger the lighting angle, the better the astigmatism effect of the LED flexible light strip, and the lower its brightness. The smaller the luminous angle, the greater the luminous intensity of the LED flexible light strip and the smaller its illumination range. Therefore, the luminous angle is one of the important indicators for evaluating LED flexible light strips. 4)Light flux The luminous flux of each SMD5050LED lamp bead is 4~16lm. The luminous flux of current high-brightness LED lamp beads is 7~12lm, and the luminous flux of each SMD5050LED lamp bead is 10~12lm. At present, people generally use LED lamp beads with a luminous flux of 16~18lm. Note: Brightness is defined by luminous flux, and its unit is lumens (lm). The greater the luminous flux, the higher the brightness. |
